Life may be a rat race, an uphill climb, or a daily struggle
for some folks. It may even feel like a dog-eat-dog world.
But only a true canine might call this a doggy dog world.
OK, maybe an extra enthusiastic dog lover would describe it thus, but only in a
good way.
When a person complains about competitive unfairness and
rule-benders, who stomp on others to climb the proverbial ladder of success,
they’re not talking about a sweet, tail-wagging doggy dog world.
A dog-eat-dog world is unfriendly. It’s cannibalistic, in a
sense. And it may even be dangerous.
Do you work with anyone who is rabid for self-advancement?
If you do, you live in the dog-eat-dog world. Best beware.
Maybe you want to pick up a dog – for protection.
