Any way you slice it, there’s something just not right about
“anyways.” In fact, the
dictionary calls this a non-standard word.
It’s one of those verbal slip-ups that receive so much play
that they become part of popular language. Many people don’t bother to check,
anyhow.
But that doesn’t make it correct.
The real word is “anyway.”
